As a JD owner I like the green glock...

As to making an orange one... that might ruffle some feathers as fake trainer guns and kids toys are rqd to have orange on them to signify non-useable.

However... still cool to have matching color theme to tractor and pistol... can I get my Stihl chainsaw in green too?

You could always do it that way... a saddle rifle scabbard is designed for just that purpose (mounting & access).

It's just possible that you could find one to suit somewhere in Texas. :yes:

That is sweet. That's exactly the kind of thing I'd like to get for my 1894 Win sometime. But mine is a pre-64, so I don't want to take it out and let it bump around with me on the tractor.

Maybe I should just buy one of those Marlin 30-30's from Walmart and mount it in there!

Forgot to mention that I have a cab on my 7040. I was thinking about mounting one handlebar mount ATV gun holder on the grab bar on the right side.

I have to agree with that also ,on a tractor IMO a Kolpin atv/utv mount would be best way to go.
They even have a hole were you cap n lock rifle/shotgun covered.
