Looks like everyone reading this made it over the hump of the new year safely.

I told my daughter I would picker her up from work to keep her safe as she got off work at the news station at 12:30. Better they hit me in a large Ford F250 then her in a VW beetle.

Something was talking to me about last night. I don't think I've ever been on the road at 12:30 on new years, but boy was I surprised.

I witnessed a half dozen red-light runners and bunch of weavers driving down the road, even more people hugging the white line going below the speed limit. It was a zoo out there last night.

I made the right call, it was tough on me but I sure felt good getting her home safe.
