J J,
Thanks for the help. I will do it as you just described. Are there any bleeding or other things I need to know to set this up?

No, just cycle everything several times and the air will vacate.

Let me add, that if you plan to use T-N-T in the future, now is the time for a three spool remote. Although you can slip the three spool valve in series later.

JJ,
My manual says the flow rate is 8.29 GPM, must have been a misprint at the Tractor.com site. But still seems that the cycle time will be around 15sec.

I believe that is your total pump flow, the steering will use some of that.

What does your manual say?

Can you post the specs out of your manual?

From the Manual
Total Pump Flow = 13.28 GPM
Steering Pump output = 5 GPM
Hydraulic Pump output = 8.29 GPM

Your manual is more correct than anything else.

I'm new to this site. I'm having the same difficulties with my log splitter. Not enough knowledge or experience with the hydraulics. Trial and error and lots of patience. I understand what I need to do now thanks to y'alls posts. Now I just need to get some new seals for the hydraulic pump:(
Thanks guys
Ronnie
