1st post here guys, I've been reading your stuff for a while now, and enjoying it so I thought I might as well join in.
I'm not implying I know much about welding just one of the names we call each other at work for fun. Weldoman, weldmaster, weldomatic etc.

After recently buying the QA for my b2620 bucket ( thanks to chuckinnh and others) I thought I would like to have some pallet forks for it. Took some ideas I got here and started my project.I'll attempt to show pics

Very Nice.

I ordered the kubota QA just minutes ago, since I got my pin on forks I realized it'll be a pain to switch.

Have you tried the forks yet- is the weld at the corner holding up?

Well done. Did you fab the forks or were they pre-made?

Great looking job. Wish I could weld, even almost as good as you.

Never been real happy with the top hook up on mine, even though it has held with loads that could not be lifted. Like yours a lot better. May Steal that idea some day.

2 Things that you may want to reinforce. The forks themselves, I think you will find the channel iron a little on the week side. The corner joint where the fork joins the upright.

My forks never looked as good as yours and having several years of hard, dirty work, look even worse. They have held up well under much abuse. The quickie welded on tabs used to lock the forks down when compacting a load or digging have not held up to well. But as bad as they are, the front of the tractor has been off the ground many a time while pushing down.

Yea Danny, I fabbed the forks. Took some ideas from Sherweld and some of my own. I boxed the channel with some flat plate. Probably should have used real forks, but it seems I like doing things the hard way.

Crash, I put gussets on both sides of that inside corner joint as well as beveling it before it was welded. Wouldn't think my little tractor could bend these but I've been wrong before.

Thanks for looking.
