For instance a Jinma may take a LOT longer than a Kubota.

If It has to be built, 6-8 weeks is normal lead time. Lots of manufacturers do not inventory built units, rather build as ordered. Inventory cost money and most raw materials i.e. steel, cylinders, hoses, etc can be shipped within 7-10 days to a manufacturing plant.
If unit is available, 2-3 weeks is normal.
If you bought a unit from Liberty, you might not get it for a while.

What brand and who did you purchase from?

Any brand worth a salt should have a few units built & ready to ship. If a manufacturer can't afford a few thousand dollars in inventory for backhoes they wont be around long. Even most dealers stock 3-4 backhoes at any given time.

Now......If it's an older or non-current tractor and the mounting brackets or something aren't available, that's different.
