I can almost hear the rust forming under those vehicles.
In Ocean City, MD they have problems with beach erosion. In the winter they go out into the surf with some huge dozers and push the sand back up. I've seen them with their undercarriages under water. They also always work in pairs. Being that sand is so soft I always figured they had to get one stuck eventually.

that would be a sight i would love to see that

I admit that something simillar happened to me at a boat launch. I backed the boat into the water, as usual. Put the truck in first and shut the engine off and got out, as usual. The truck chugged it's way backwards until it was mirror deep in water, not as usual.
I had someone help pull the truck out of the water, then went fishing anyway.
I've had more misadventures owning a boat than any combinations of other toys.
Heck, I once fell out of my boat on lake Superior while the boat was trolling along at 2.4 miles per hour toward Thunder Bay. I had to do some fast swimming to catch up to it.
