Just as soon as the ground dries out next time, I am going to grease up my new disc and start the cutting process on the heavy turf I turned under last fall. The disc is a 5' w/16" blades. I am pulling it with the L225 (24hp). I have a piece of 1" steel that measures about 14"x 15". I wondered if it would be enough. I'm not sure how much it weighs, and I forget how to decipher it.
