Price Check How much would you list 310 backhoe for?

So I’m thinking of selling my 310j and buying a M59. I’m seeing prices all over the place for used ones. Mine has 2500 hours, new back tires, mechanical thumb, 36” and 18” bucket, and no DEF. the boom is tight with no wear in the pins and bushings. Unfortunately I don’t have service records but it’s a well maintained rental fleet machine.

I'd gather all of the prices of machines that are in as good or worse shape as yours, then price yours on the high end, maybe even higher. Someone will want it, and it leaves you some wiggle room on the price to make them feel better when you come down to the price you actually want.

It seems to be all over the place. I see them between 35k-45k. Most of the 35 k ones don’t have the accessories I have and more hours. Most of the 45k ones have cabs.

So what is a cab worth?
Maybe 5K max.
Why not price it at 42-44K, and see what happens?

I assume you are looking at a used M59 for 40K.
Could you find a used M62 for just a bit more?
I just bought the smaller/older cousin (2006) L48 for 32K, from original owner, with 250 hours.
40K sounds like a good deal for the newer M59.
My L48 has 3 rear remotes, QA bucket w/hydraulically operated pins, additional front remote, QA hoe bucket.
It is just a toy for me, but I think I am going to love it.

Is the M62 really an upgrade? It’s equipped with modern emissions equipment that the m59 isn’t. It’s got a 2” bigger but weaker hoe. Having SSQA loader, auxiliary hydraulics front and back, hydraulic thumb and good rubber are mandatory features. I’d rather not spend anymore than what I get out of the 310 on the purchase.
