Yep it's on the back... This one sounds like the same weight range. Probably not much more that 2k on it at a time since my L is 2000# and when driving up ALL the weight is never on it at one time.
BTW the rusted square tubing on the rear was my first attempts, on the deck is the jack. Didn't work unless the reailer was on level ground and where the load was. Plus they didn't store that well.
I think I got it at HArbor freight for $15 with a coupon. If it gives I'll get 2. But yes it does a great job of taking the load off the hitch and tongue.
