Anyone prefer hydrostatic transmission tractors, but thought they could do with a few more horsepower ?
The Fendt 1000 range, which they reckon is coming to the North American and European markets next year, is an interesting concept if you like HSTs. The pump drives two independent hydro motors - one for the front axle and another to drive the rear axle.
How many horses ? Well the top of the range model is 500hp, but if you feel you can make do with something a little smaller, they do have a baby one too - that's only 380hp.
