I work with hydraulic hose from time to time at my job. We had to replace the hoses on a customers hydro bush hog a few times.
We found the 4 braid hose listed lasted longer than the 2 braid variety mostly due to the fittings that particular hose brand used. The hose always broke near the fitting.
I should put in a disclaimer that any hyd hose spec'd for the pressure should work just fine. Only up the braid count (and expense) if you have problems bursting them near the fittings.
