hydraulic stopped - 2700

A few times before today, I have been operating FL and Boxblade and hydraulics will just stop. I would turn the tractor off and come back hours later, start and everything is fine. Sometimes I would rev the engine and that would solve the problem.

Happened yesterday, and I went back out this morning and still would not work.

Note: when turned off, hydralic pressure seems to stay up there, can't lower FL or box blade, by their own weight.

What to try first

fluid levels and quality of hydrulic oil are good.

hi la farms, i have a ym 240. i had the same thing happen to me on mine. i think they are similar hydralics if not the same. when it happens look under the seat at the lift handle linkage. there is a small plunger that is chrome, it is probably over extended in the valve housing. i took a pair of channel locks and backed it out and it went back to working. it seems to happen to mine when the front end pops up and the box blade hits the ground causing the lift to push the chrome button into the valve body. you probably can get a more professional opinion from the experts on here. hope it is a help.:thumbsup:

Yes I looked at thatand it is pushed in. I took plyers and puled it out, but not far enuf to reach the mechanical part that pushes it in. I will try pulling it out further. I have no felling the the is any problem with hydralic pressure, I get the feeling evrthing is just locked up.

Ok if you pull it all the way out you will feel it release. It feels like nothing but then it will hit. It is strange but it works
When mine first did it I started going through the tests for pressure and function. But after it happened a couple times o figured it out
Still not sure why it happens to begin with.

I got the needle nose plyers on it, and pulled it out. Started the tractor and the FEL moved up on command. Then I tryed to lowed the box blade which is at the highest point and, the contorl lever pusted the button back in. Pulled it out agan and tryed the FEL, nothing.

If you are talking about a control valve similiar to this it sounds to me like you need to take it apart and see what is going on with it. Maybe a busted spring? Yanmar Tractor Parts: THREE_POINT_CONTROL

thanks for the information. I think this area is under pressure, is there a proper place to relieve the pressure, before disassembly?

If your lift is down you won't have any pressure.

Is your loader stuck in the up positon also or just the 3 point?
