I was thinking about this for in my shop, of course it would not work on anything but paved and I bet the wheels cost more than our wheel motors, but we are nearly there in terms of structure...

I think that you are right that it is an indoor only wheel. Still it looks fun, although perhaps not terribly long lived, given all of the weight would be on eight rollers or fewer. It might be worth it in warehouses allowed to pack more goods in, but most items have fire restrictions to begin with, so I don't know how big the market might be.

Some Moffet forklifts have an option to turn the front wheels 90 deg to go sideways and they can go through mud etc. That setup looks like it couldn't go up any incline even know it is 4x4.
