IH 444 Hydraulic filter for transmission ?

I recently purchased a IH 444. there is excessive noise coming from the transmission so I'm starting off by checking levels and filters. Anyone know where the filter is on this tractor? I doesn't appear to be tied in with the rest of the hydraulics.

Sitting in the seat look behind your right calf under the seat. Its a tube that comes from the pump on the front of the engine that runs down the right side of the tractor, the silver fitting that goes into the casting under the seat is the hydraulic suction screen, no filter on this model.

Be very careful taking off that rubber hose that connects it, its a strange size and isnt made any longer.

Transmission gearbox ...no filter.....diff....no filter....please check both !

I think the o-ring that seals the suction screen is a strange size too. Don't break it when removing it.
