I am looking for a small Drill for wildlife planting and found a Cockshutt 76 Grain Drill, Ser #84978BX. I can't find much info except it was a Canadian company that made tractors and equipment that became Oliver, then White, etc. The unit looks OK in pictures but ebay has the parts and owner manuals listed as Vintage Equipment.
Wondering if any TBNers can enlighten me on old Cockshutt Equipment, is it worth having for a few acres per year in prepared soil or is it just some oldiron that looks good on paper. I can't find but the one and it is close to where I live. I did find one SOLD for $600. The dealer is asking $1950, but I would only offer close to the sold one if I was interested after looking at it.
I would appreciate any information ! :2cents:
Thanks TBNers
