At the end of the season last year the tractor would run strong for a while, but then loose power and stall out. It restarts right away, but within a few minutes looses power and stalls out again. It seems to run longer if it has been parked, with a shorter run time after every restart.
There was rust scale in the transfer filter and the diesel had a reddish tinge. Fuel tank was replaced. New fuel looks great. Bleed the fuel lines from the tank to the injection pump until no bubbles a section at a time. There is a new return line off the injectors as the tank is a different style than the original.
I have read that breakdown of the plastic inside the injector pump listed as a common problem with the Roosa master pumps.
Is there anything else to consider before sending it out for a rebuild?
Thanks,
Joe
