L39 L45 or JD 110 but then again I'm biased, but for good reason.

Clearing a 1/2 acres or more, hire out a big excavator for a day or less and have him trash it. Tell him not to be fussy. An L39 clean stuff up very well.

Hiring out saves many hours on your new to you machine. A small machine clearing +1/2 Acre of dense woods is cruel to the little guy.

The Full size TLB will be great at first, but you will find it just hanging around later.

Compared to a BX an L39 or L45 is at least 4X the tractor and 1/2 a full size CASE. However the TLB's tires do poorly on soft ground. (But the hoe will keep you from getting totally stuck.)

I have a B2620 and a Case 580 Super M. The Case won't mow my lawn. But the B has done everything I've ever needed done, from building one mile of bushroad in my backyard, to installing a new septic field, to doing firewood and snow removal.

The Case has a climate controlled cab, but the little Kubota B is easier on fuel, and WAY cheaper to maintain. Just takes longer.
