No inspection on trailers or vehicles for that matter here in Indiana.

They need to start a vehicle inspection here. I've never seen so many rusted out POS cars/trucks on the road in my life. When I moved here 3 years ago, I had to take a driving test to get an Indiana driver's license....OK. never had to do that in TX or MO when I moved there. When I got a concealed carry license in TX, I had to pass a range test. Here in IN, a simple background check and fingerprint. That's it. It's amazing how different state laws are. Just sayin.

I agree with inspection of trailers. Last year mice got in my trailer hubs and chewed the brake wires off all 4.

Up here (in Ontario anyway) you not only need an annual safety done on the trailer, the vehicle that is pulling it needs to have had a safety done on it in the last year as well. I think it applies to anything over 10,000 lbs rating.
