We prefer donating to our local newspaper fund as they don't take any remuneration.
Many much hyped funds eat up as much 40% in 'administration' with often a considerable stipend going the the star named promoter.

Try handing a tin of non perishable food to a street beggar, but duck, it's only cash they want.
