Have a Jacobsen Turfcat DW224 with a leaking steering cylinder. Looking for a used power steering cylinder or advice from someone who has found a conversion such as a automotive or ford tractor steering cylinder. Looks like a A1 Cardone number 29-6720 or 29-6765 steering cylinders could be converted. HELP !!!

Is it alright to ask WIW here?

If so, my club will have a T422D up for sale in the Fredericksburg, VA area. Runs and cuts great, but we just bought 2 Scags. An idea on value would be appreciated.

Hi mikado,
Sorry so late. I have one, but it could be used for my other 436G w/same deck. I'm in WI. 608-354-4406. I have ordered parts through TURF WERKS in Minneapolis or Des Moines area. Is there a Jacobsen Junk Yard out there?

Average Joe,

I have a T422D. Bought it and a 436G four years ago for $2500 w/4-18 hole passes for the golf course. The 436G had not run for years and kind of threw it in the package. It was a $70 starter rebuild to get it going...so great deal. My T422D started a tranny chattering going uphill. Thought about a rebuild, but would be expensive since I don't have that talent to do it myself. I love these machines, but they are nickle and dimeing me. Not sure of past maintenance, so can't blame machine 100%.

I would guess a good one to bring in the $2000 -$2500 range.

I have a T422d T-950 ,72' deck, Jacobson turfcat diesel for sale . I have replaced the starter (new), hydraulic pump(new) , 2 new drive tires ,have installed all new filters , new mower belt ,installed new glow plugs and battery. Unit runs great and doesn't burn oil (I use synthetic oil) . No leaks. The deck hydraulic motor just set up. I am putting this up for sale, because I need something I can get parts (easily). I love this unit but I have 20 acres I am clearing, and can,t afford down time waiting for parts . 2500$

Owner of a circa 1987 Jaconsen T422D TurfCat II Professional Series Front Mounted Hudrostatic PTO Driven Accessories, 3 Cylinder Diesel 21.5 HP D950W Kubota Hydrostatically Driven turf tractor.

Also own Jacobsen of currently unknown model and unknown year, three wheel configuration, front mounted mechanical PTO driven accessories, 3 cylinder gasoline 21.5 HP Kubota engine converted from original Ford Continental 4 cylinder industrial engine.

Do you have any snowblower attachments for Jacobsen's?
