JD 1600 Wide Area Mower will not turn over.

This problem has happened before and the service department replaced a fuse, but this time I do not see a fuse that is blown. The trouble shooting guide is so vague it is not funny. I checked the fuses and they are all good. Good battery. It was started in he morning just fine and after it was shut off it would not turn over. 15 minutes of road time. Any suggestions?

It's probably a short in the battery. To verify that, jump start it with your truck/car. If it starts, replace the battery. Sometimes a battery just shorts out and the deer strongbox batteries are known for it.
