OOOOPSIE! My first time removing the backhoe and I put too much pressure on the seat post when lowering the boom. Is this as easy a fix as i'm hoping it is???

It's a bit hard to tell from the photo but it looks like 4 bolts hold the seat mount to the frame. Not sure how easy it will be to remove that piece since it looks like there may be another piece of metal in the way.

Once removed though you can either opt to replace the seat mount or possibly weld, though that mount might be cast..?? If it is steel, and not some sort of alloy, I would try welding first as well as reinforcing the joint with some steel welded onto the side of that mount to form a channel. Though not being able to see the other end of the seat mount it is hard to say how that might go.

Perhaps you could show us some more pictures and we may be of further help.
