The other day a plumbing company I sometimes do some hauling for, called and asked for a load of fill sand and to haul off some dirt on a sewer cleanout installation job they were doing. The fella on the job was using a JD 260 skid steer, so I thought I would ask him what he thought of it.
He said it was just the best skid steer he has ever used, and named off several brands. He especially liked the visiblity of the bucket, and the self leveling feature. I thought that was pretty neat myself. He also said that the backhoe attachment was the best, but thought it a bit structurally weak for the power of the machine. It was the only negative thing he had to say about it.
He let me load a few buckets into the truck, just to give it a try. So now I'm wondering if anybody else has tried one of these 200 series out, and what do they think of it.
