I have a JD345 and tonight I bought a 42” snowblower M03252X221750 and a 48” blade M03480X040082. Can anyone confirm these are the correct attachments for my 345? They came off a 325 so I think they will work. I didn’t get the front lift kit with them but I’m going to call the guy and see if I can get it. If not I will be looking for a lift kit.

I had a 325. Those are correct for your tractor.

The lift kit is available and can be looked up on the Deere parts website.

I have a John Deere GX345 and can confirm that snowblower is correct for your unit.

Do you use a snowblower on yours? If so, how does it do?

Yes, I do use a snowblower on my GX345. The power steering and hydraulic lift will make life much easier when using the blower. Also - I would recommend that you do a web search of modifying the snowblower using 2 pieces of belting that measure 3" x 5" x 3/8" thick. When these are mounted on the auger - it greatly enhances the blowing of wet snow and practically makes it impossible to clog.

Thanks for the tip on the mod. I will do that before winter. Also ran across a video where a guy had added electric actuators and LED lights to the blower. I like those mods too! :) The guy I bought it from has said he will give me the front lift kit off his mower as I still need that.

Can anyone provide a photo of the belt tensioner mechanism for this blower? Here is a pic of the tensioner on mine but I feel like it’s missing something as I don’t see how it would work as is. I cannot find a parts diagram online for this unit. If anyone has a manual or can point me to a parts diagram I would appreciate it.

Search the Deere parts website for 42 Inch Snow Thrower. It's there. There are two serial number breaks for the 42 Thrower.
