I went to switch the hoses and had another idea. Started the tractor and raised the front wheels about an inch off the ground. I found a reference point and watched to see if the tire would turn to the right. The thought being that any leakage through the control valve should turn the wheel. It didn’t budge. I even took a video to reference wheel position from beginning to end. So, while the wheels were off the ground, I adjusted for an 1/8th inch more toe in. I took it for a test drive on both the crowned lane and on a level two track. There was at least a fifty percent improvement. So I put another quarter inch of toe in and tested it again. The problem is still there but almost imperceptible. It is now at least a half inch out of spec but I don’t care. Those tires will die of sun rot before they wear out from the excess toe in.
