John Deere 770
Hi,

First time post here. I have a T-6 Harley Rake and I am waiting on my John Deere 770 to show up. Has anyone used a Harley Rake on the 770 before? I know it is on the small end of recommended, but our soil is pretty sandy/silty, we are in the PanHandle of Nebraska. I do have the 70 loader on it, so I have some counter weight out front.

I used the T-6 before on a 1530 Deere and it was very capable of course, but this 770 was a good dal and more the size I need one I finish leveling and seeding our 2 acre yard.

Thanks in advance. I posted a picture of the tractor in the previous owners shop. Once I get it home and shined up, I'll post an after picture!

Hello. And good luck with your new tractor. I am an avid and very experienced Harley Rake T-6 user. I run it professionally on a JD 4300 & JD 3720. I think you already know that the 770 is a too small for this implement. But if you are only using it for one job around your property and go slow and easy, you will get by. If you are planing to use it all the time like I do then I have to say the 770 is not the right tractor. I would say that my 4300 is at the very bottom end for use with the T-6
Good Luck
