I pulled apart my clutch today and have a It manual on this tractor, but it is not very explicit in that I could not get the clutch drum off the splined shaft. The previous owner put in a extra clutch plate?? and its got me confused as I know how many plates should be in there but which side of the clutch plates go against what?? I purchased 2 new round disc plates that has fibre on both sides. Just can not get the clutch drum out that is on the spline and I am concerned about damaging it. I took off the big bolt in the middle of the drum and put the 1/2 bolts into the holes to pressure it out but no go. Any advise folks?? Anyone got a really good diagram of this too??:confused2:

:welcome: to TBN

Above or below the s/n B201000 ??

You can see the clutch diagram for above and below the s/n break point by going to jdparts.com.
Not sure it will help you break it loose, but may be what you need for confidence.
