John Deere LA100 mower deck spindle

how do you get the spindle off? I have removed the 4 deck screws but cant get the pulley off to remove the spindle from the deck.

how do you get the spindle off? I have removed the 4 deck screws but cant get the pulley off to remove the spindle from the deck.

Put the 4 deck screws back in, block the blade from turning with a 2x4 and remove the pulley nut.
