Hello. I'm sorry for no prior formalities but I work with a public school district and really don't have time to "play" on a computer but I still need help from anyone willing to give it.
We have a JD Ztrack "777" carbureted.
It turns over with no fuel entering carb. Pulled fuel supply hose and turned key and pump works. Checked solonoid at bottom of carb for power with key on and it isn't getting any power. I followed the harness to something that looks like some kind of electrical shunt but has two points of constant power but the wire for the solonoid receives no power from this connection point.
My questions are:
1. What is that solonoid called and what does it do?
2. What is the "shunt" looking part that supplies power to the solonoid?
3. Can anyone send me a wiring diagram and/or diagram of fuses and relays??
