Hi All,
I just scored a like new BH90 Backhoe and subframe that came off of a L4240 tractor. My question concerns the hydraulic hook-up. The backhoe has two lines, one male and one female and are quick disconnect. Additionally there are also two lines with male and female quick disconnects on one end and banjo fittings on the other ends. One of these lines is about 18" and the other is about 4 feet. They are about long enough to reach the Control Valve area under the tractor operator seat.
I understand the typical way the backhoe is plumbed with one line to the block under the floor board on the right and the other to the Power Beyond port on the FEL control. I am wondering are there ports on the Control Valve under the seat that I could use to do the same thing and use my existing lines? I have read that some have done this but I can't determine if there are ports that will work. I have a L4330HST with one rear remote where the lines came from a L4240.
Thanks,
Ed
