Price Check Kubota BX25 price quote check - Any good?

I live in the North San Francisco Bay Area and got a quote on a BX25 with some implements and wanted to check how it compares.

The basic BX25 with loader and backhoe - no bucket or 3 point hitch -> $19,299.53

Seems high compared to what I've read here

12" backhoe bucket -> $464.00

Gearmore D20 Auger -> $840.28

Gearmore 12" auger bit -> $185.56

Gearmore 48" box scraper -> $732.94

Gearmore 48" rear mower -> $1380.64

Kubota 3 point hitch -> $203.78

+ 9% tax Ouch

How are these prices and how valuable is having the local dealer friendly?

I was to upgrading to a B2320 would be another $2-$3K.

Any ideas?

Sounds High, I was at a open house at my local dealer they had a BX25 with 60" MMM for 18400.00

This was in Mid MI

I recently bought a new BX25 without the mmm about one and a half months ago and I paid $16,250 out the door. I do not know about the implements but the tractor is priced way to high. Mine also had the twelve inch backhoe bucket with it. The dealer also priced me the three point hitch for $125 but I didn't by it.

I would advise running, not walking, to another dealership that is not trying to bend you over.

I'm not knowledgeable on the BX25, but I can tell you that I paid $20K and change for my B2620 with FEL, BH, and thumb two years ago before the price increase. I recently purchased the MMM which was another $2,500

My tractor price included all of the buckets, the three point BH install etc.

That price sounds really high..I'd do some shopping..Around these parts, there are dealers that think everyone is a millionare, and charge accordingly...Go some where where the dealers live in reality, you're guaranteed a better price..

You should buy BX25 around 16,000. The price is too high.

I agree that sounds high that tractor with the backhoe bucket and the kubota 3pt hitch should not be over $17,000. I just had a friend buy a BX25 he also got a canopy and a 48" tufline box blade and I think tax and all was around $18,000 but the tax rate down here is only 2.5% Good Luck.

I'd have to say that I'd guess the cost of doing business north of SanFrancisco is alot higher than in Alabama (or just about anywhere else)... thus, expect tractors to cost more as well.

I'm in Watsonvile, a couple hours south of SFO. C & N Tractors there seems to give good prices. A B3200HSD was under $16k in the most recent quote I got.
