New to forum and need input on a problem with my Kubota L2650 dual-clutch . . .

The drive clutch recently started to slip occasionally. It doesn't slip all the time. Sometimes it grips, sometimes it slips when starting to engage. Pedal travel seems OK, about 1/2" of play before the linkage puts tension on the lever coming out of the side of the tractor case/housing (linkage has never been adjusted, by the way). And . . .now suddenly the PTO clutch doesn't disengage with the pedal pushed in all the way, it always disengaged at about 3/4 to 7/8 of the way in before. Any ideas on what's going on or how to repair or adjust will be appreciated. With only 600 hours on the tractor it seems WAY too soon for a clutch failure.

Thanks much!

It does sound like the clutch is on the way out. When they both go out of wack in relationship to each other there is a problem.

That is low hours for a tractor of that vintage no doubt but you do have a problem that will more then likely require splitting to repair. Even if the clutch is hanging up do to a mice nest you would have to clean it completely.
