Hi Guys

I am looking at buying a Kubota L3800 or L4600. I previously owned a L3250 which I was very satisfied with so similar capacity would be OK. Anyone got any advice.

Thanks

To TBN from Alabama, USA. If the price isn't too much more for the L4600, you would probably be happier with it.

I am a happy L4600 owner here. I would think if you added the SSQA and cruise control (both standard on the L4600) on the L3800 the price would be close to the same. So unless size is a concern I would go with the higher horsepower and loader capacity.

Hi Guys thanks for your replies, it looks like it will be the L4600.

Initially I will be keeping the L4006 in a standard shipping container but will it fit. The internal dimensions of the container are Height - 89.5 inches, Width - 91.5 inches. Length no problem. I might have to fold ROPS. Would width be OK with wheels configered for FEL attachment?

Can anyone advise?

Many thanks

I also looked at a l4600, but got an mx4700 for less money. They are pretty similar in size, worth checking them both out.

Mine has the Ag tires set to the widest stance for stability and they are just a bit wider than the 72inch loader and box blade. So you should be good on width. I am sure it would fit with ROPS folded height wise but it may fit upright. I can measure later but it shouldn't matter. I wouldn't count out the M4700 either same tractor with a little stouter loader for the most part.

Satisfied L4600 owner here, very good little tractor. Will do much more than people give it credit for.

Good luck with whatever you choose, they are all good machines.
