It is a tractor after all and I kind of like the whine of power on mine.

I traded up from a L4400 manual to a MX5100 HST, the L4400 gear was a very noisy, loud whine compared to the HST, which I can barley hear,,, nature of the beast possibly,,

Different tractor, but after 300 hrs I switched my B2630 from regular UDT to Super just for the heck of it to see what if anything would happen. It was only a $10 difference overall. Let me tell you - the reduction in hydro whine was astounding! It's absolutely amazing. I'm a sceptic by nature, believe in old school regular maintenence, and don't expect miracle cures. That being said, I would never use regular UDT again.
