I've searched Kubota's site and different discussion boards, but can't find the technical info I'm looking for. I'm a hydraulics noob considering a TNT, but I'm having trouble figuring out just what I'll need.

My main problem is figuring out what I need to install the rear remotes. My L3400 has an FEL and 3pt hitch. I don't know where to tap into the hydraulic system or how many spools/valves etc. I need. Anyone got any pointers or info for me?

Thanks,
j

You'll need:
1ea BL7303 Hydraulic Valve Kit,
1ea BL 7343 2nd position Stacking Kit,
1ea BL7373 Additional Valve Section,
1ea L7303 Hose Kit,
1ea 75541-68150 Port Plug,
1 ea 75541-68160 O-Ring.
And some patience.

Assembly instructions are included in the kits.

Todd:

I didn't know that a factory valve was available for the L3400. Is it ?

StrangeRanger:

Check out this thread on adding remotes and TnT to an L3400. Pretty much all the remotes I've heard about here on the L2800/L3400 are aftermarket.

I have not yet gone and done it. I'm too chicken yet to muck with the hydraulics and I'm not sure if I won't trade the tractor in a couple of years for a GL so I don't want to sink too much money into it.

For what it's worth I have a single Kubota rear remote on my L3400HST. I have attached a picture of where the hydraulic lines connect to the tractor. The tank connection was routed to the rear where the filler is. There is a new plug with a fitting for the tank return.

Here is a page from the service manual. I hope this helps.

The numbers I gave you are from the sales manual specifically for the L2800/3400 tractors.
I have a commercial customer that uses these valves for custom-built collapsable deck trailers. They are in the process of converting their fleet to L3400HSTs and really like the set-up.
The valves actually mount to the fender at the ROPs and are fairly simple, but they get the job done.

Thanks a bunch Todd.

When I approached one of my local dealers I was told that you have to go aftermarket. Not that I mind it because the aftermarket valves seem good.

Has your commercial customer been running a bunch of L3400HSTs already? How happy have they been with them - reliability etc. wise?

Try Carter & Carter for the TNT system. Basically is hooked up to the power beyond front loader valve with a return line to valve block at the bottom of your tractor. Unit clamps on to ROPS on right side.

I have the "Original" TNT from un-named person, unit is great!!!

i had a rear hydraulic hookup installed whn i got my backhoe, does this mean i could use that and just hook in to the new spool for the TnT using quick connect valves? this would make the job so much easier.. i wouldn't be able to use both (backhoe and TnT) at the same time anyway.

It's nice K offers factory stuff, but it's $$$$. If anyone is interested I took the time to look these up. Not sure if the dealer would budge on the price.
BL7303 - $376. Rear remote valve, 1st postion. "Required to install BL7303 with LA463 loader"
BL7343 - $25 Rear remote valve, 2nd position stacking kit.
BL7373 - $223 2nd rear remote valve
L7314 = BL7303 Hose Kit - $201
75541-68150 Port Plug - $Not listed
75541-68160 O-Ring - $Not listed

I think going after market may be the way to go. Thank you for the info though!
