Hey guys, on the fence 2025r and Kubota B2601. love them both. Worried about ultra high rpm on the Deere.Drove both hard to tell how aggravating the buzzy Yanmar would be in real life use. Any feedback from owners?

I assume the 2 series still has the rubber motor mounts. Vibration is not really notable on my old 2320.

Did the 2320 have a 3200 rpm rated speed or was it lower?

It will run up to 3200. The PTO speed is 3000. I think it's essentially the same Yanmar engine.

I never rev my 2025R to full PTO speed because I simply do not need the hp. Only need about 19 like I had in the 4010. So, I only rev it to 2500. Plenty for both bush hog and chipper/shredder work. Only time I could maybe see using full rpm on it would be if I had a snow blower. However, even at the 3100 or so "PTO" speed on the engine, it is not as loud as the 4010 was.

This is a MUCH smoother engine than the one the same size on the 1025R. THAT is/was a rough engine. **** thing idled at 1800, too. Ridiculous. Maybe I got a lemon. Everything else on it was lemony, maybe the engine, too.

I would not be concerned at all about the rated RPM of the engine. Those Yanmar engines can run full throttle for days on end without blinking.

Different engine. 2320 used a Yanmar 3TNV76 whereas the new 2025R uses a 3TNV80F.

Hi,

If you are in the market for a Deere SCUT like the 1025R you buy the new 2018 model 2025R as it is a little larger on the wheels, tires, fenders and can be equipped with a linked peddle-aka auto-throttle hydro control for the forward/reverse foot controls. If you want a class 1 tractor buy the B2601 Kubota or 1526 Massey Ferguson which also has auto-throttle hydro. Both of those are more tractor than the Deere and lack the annoying "gator plastic" hood and fenders that lacks painted finish and scratches bad with improper care/cleaning. The Deere is a comfortable unit and their 7-iron deck is nice.

guys- rode new 2025 . Idle was about 1600 rpm . Measured noise level at seat -running engine only at 3200, was approx 90 dB. I have not checked but would guess that is in line with my zero turn. it just is noiser than previous tractors if I have owned. Driving experience was similar to my last (2520).Loader operation in my mind was smoother than last. Would like pics of someone痴 3rd scv on these small tractors. I have seen the stick figures in jd parts but it is hard to get a feel for where it would mount.
