But at that price it's 3-4 huskies, you could buy a new husky every 5 years and still come out in the same place you will be with the Deere. Idk


The problem with this is the cost for everything keeps going up. What would be the cost of the third and forth Huskies? There are some advantages with this method, new hoses, batteries, new tires, new decks and blades and new sears.

We've been spoiled by low inflation for several years. Husky's list prices have stayed stable for at least the last four years. I'd be surprised if this unit doesn't go 10 years, though. By then, I may retire and possibly leave California, so I'll sell it here and pick up one of those great deals in Ohio!

The crappy box-store L120 has gone ten years, but I won't recover even the repair costs from last season when I sell it. Gotta know when to hold 'em, should have folded on that one!
