Kioti DK35se Hydrostat
I thought this was a pretty good discussion of the long term Kioti ownership and how well the tractor has held up

Mine only has a bit over 500 hours, and I bought it new. I have had a couple places on the loader arms where the paint flaked just like his, but not nearly as bad
Mine only had to be touched up a time or two in little spots. I had the Gerotor (power steering input motor) seal failure, repaired out of warranty, but it wasn't too bad for parts or labor. Overall my experience has been like his. A very solid very capable tractor with many amenities that make tractor operation much more enjoyable and productive. Overall I am very pleased with it, just like he is with his.

I have the exact same machine except for I have R1s, he's pretty much dead on the money, right down to the loader paint and rear lights. I think I ripped off the exact same light as he did.

1500 hours on mine and the only issue from the factory was a leaking transmission input seal that was replaced under warranty. More recently the 3 point will drop in cold weather. I assume a seal is a little worn and in the cold, it contracts just enough to leak. Not a problem worth tearing the tractor apart to fix.

After reading about some of the regen issues people are having with their tractors, I think I bought at the right time.

I've sure been happy with my DK 35.
Nearing 20 years of ownership and just over 2300 hours.
Trying to remember any issues I have had over the years.
Around 500 hours broke a tachometer cable, original battery lasted 11 years, glow plug timer around 1000 hours, replaced the starter around 2000 hours, replaced left rear axle seal around 2200 hours.
All easy repairs. Dam nice tractor, still working like new.

Kioti was the number tractor seller in my country on the 25 to 52hp range in 2020, which sent Kubota to the second place.

Very good results for Kioti and just proves they are growing all over the world and doing something right. They did actually bump the warranty from 2 years to 5 years in April of last year.

This is a though market when competing with European brands like Same, Landini, Lamborghini, etc.

Also, the tractors here are used hard in logging, farming, land clearing, etc. Our brush mowers use chains, instead of blades, let alone requires a lot more from the tractors.

If you're interested in the article, here it is. It's in Portuguese but nothing a translator won't fix:
Comercio Maquinas - Em 2;) a Kioti alcanca a lideranca do mercado de tratores entre os 25 e os 52 cv

It's very nice to see these South Korean brands growing nice and steadily.

I bought mine in 2012 a CK27hst with cab and front mount snow blower. There was one warranty issue that the dealer came right to the house to fix. Would I buy Kioti again? YES! In a heartbeat.

Neighbor has a new Kubota with hydrostat about the same size as my Yanmar, I got on it one day, that rocker pedal on it is the most awkward thing I ever used. Seems like your leg would be killed after a day's use.

Throw in the re-gen issues, and I wouldn't trade my 10 year old Yanmar even if he threw in some serious boot.

As for bragging about it only spending 5 nights of it's life inside, he will eventually find keeping it in a building or shed adds a LOT of life to equipment.

On the plus side, I see it came stock with a horn, and the handle that allows you to lower the 3pt hitch standing behind the tractor. I had to add a horn to mine, and fabricate a handle to do the same thing....stuff that would seem obvious to tractor designers but clearly isn't.

900 hours on my 2013 DK45sec, to cold now to do the service, oil change every 150hrs and filters. Had a few hyd leaks on the loader couplers and have to take off the side motor panels in the heat of summer to get more air over the radiator. gets its most use with the grapple moving brush but also chipping with a 8inch woodmax, field mowing with a 7ft brush mower, tree shearing, hay baling with an old New Holland small baler, digging with a 4ft root bucket and with a bale spike on the back and front feed two 1500lb bales. I have added a 3/4 inch plywood guard under the transmission, a pipe guard in front of the tie rods (handy for a stet to refuel), beet juice to the rear, and a second remote in back. In the barn at 6 degrees yesterday ran the glow plugs twice and started in a second or two. It has been back to a dealer only for the juice and second remote.
