as far as the quality issues they are talking about, yes, the TD, Tn, and the mexico made tractors are mor eof economy type tractor. Still built nice and heavu but the features arent like what say the T5000 series is.......the T5050 is a lot more tractor compared to the 5083E....actually the New HOlland Powerstar T4.75 is comparable to the 5083E.....around here we beat the 5083E 95% of the time if it is being compared. THe T5050 is a bigger heavier tractor, it is more comparable to the 6100D or maybe even the 5095M....the price of the T5050 should be good when compared to the Green one.......we sale a bunch of T5000 and have no issues at all..good solid tractor....jsut sold 2 T5070 this week......good luck and keep us posted
