Looking to buy a used 2016 GC1720 TLB. Anything I need to look at before I purchase?

I am in Canada so the $17500.00 cad is only $12900.00 US. A new one would GC1725 would be around $27000.00 cad.

My property is only just over 3/4 of an acre. About 1/3 is wooded. Its main purpose will be to redo the property landscape, maintain 100 FT gravel driveway, dig footings for new deck and install concrete pad for garage. Maybe clear some snow in winter but we don't usually get much in this area, maybe used snow blower 5 times in the past two years. But that's not always the case.

I think to many its a incentive to make yardwork and projects more fun.

I guess i was just asking if there are items that I should pay extra special attention too, when inspecting the tractor before purchase.

Thanks, I will check the fan. Does it run constant or cycle on and off.

You said first service at 50 hours. Does this include changing all the HDY fluid?

Should I be concerned about the backhoe cylinder being a little wet? Could it be just a little dirt under the lip of he seal and can it be cleaned out.

Thanks

$12,900 USD sounds a great price! I paid $17k for a 2018 1710 with 60 hrs on it, which came with a 60" mmm, bolt-on forks, a draw bar trailer hitch, and a backhoe dolly (that kinda sorta works...not really), and I consider what I got as an excellent deal.

Well, I made the deal and purchased my first tractor. I did find a broken grease fitting on the backhoe. The dealer fixed the fitting and changed the engine oil and filter, greased unit without having to even having to ask. The dealer is just over an hour away.

Today they delivered the tractor and the funny thing about this was that there was also a BX23s on the same truck being delivered a few houses down from me on the same street. I have never meet this person.

Here is a few pics of the 2016 GC1720 arriving home.

Congratulations! Now move your rear lights inboard of the rops, they are not cheap. The likely hood of breaking one is high.

The older 1705, 1710, 1715, & 1720 seem to be a better tractor than the new 1723 & 1725.

I like Japan built machinery. It just is of a better quality.

Get it while they are still available and low hours.
