We know this life is limited. We know not that limit. Those who make a difference are missed and remembered. The best we can do is to be ready. I pray for you in your loss. I lost my best two friends about 2 to 3 years ago, it hurts.

gsganzer, I went through the same with a 30+ year good buddy, it hit me hard too. Other than loosing grandparents when I was much younger, he was the first death I had to deal with. Cancer also. Now I enjoy talking with his son about him, and now & then I'll have a few direct words as well :thumbsup:

The bud I mentioned earlier in this thread is doing fine and might even get through this with minimum issues.
However, two months ago I got word an old work buddy was just diagnosed with stage four lung and brain cancer. I just got the news that he passed away, never see 60. We all need to know that we mattered. He made a difference in my life and he will be missed.
