My dad picked up 2 M6950 tractors both with 1850 loaders on them for $2000. The one tractor has a blown motor and the other tractor runs great. The only problem with it that a bearing in the front end must of came apart and put a hole in the casting that bolts on to the main axle. I was wondering if anyone here has had one of these apart before. If so how difficult is it? Also where would be a good place to get a shop manual. My plan is to take the casting off the tractor that doesn't run and put it on the good one.

Can't tell from your picture where that part is located... but you have two to take apart, do the broken one first and then the good one. Any problems will be discovered in removing the broken casting. It needs to come off anyway.
