Anyone here of this new model sounds like they are trying to bring back 3016 with new model numbers

Actually makes getting on-off of the right side no longer a problem like it is with the 15 & 16 series machines.
based on the pics on the web site, it looks like it is, in every sense but the engine, a 3016.
According to the specs. the size of the FEL is a little smaller than the FEL that fit the 3016. The FEL for the 1526 has a maximum lift height (to the pins) of 84 inches and a 1560 pound lift capacity as opposed to the 99 inch lift height (to the pins) and a 1650 pound lift capacity of the 3016.
My local dealer just received two 1526 shuttle shift tractors both with FELs. They seem like nice machines to me. My dad is considering upgrading from an eMax 25 HST with MMM and FEL to a 1526 with a MMM and FEL. My only concern is the 1526 having enough PTO power (19 hp shuttle shift/18.5 hp HST) to run a six foot wide MMM and still do a good job of cutting. Would it be able to handle occasional heavy grass (in a large yard, not a field)? I'm glad Mahindra introduced the 1526 tractor. Once Mahindra increased the size (length) and horsepower of the tractors with the introduction of the 15 Series, there seemed to be a big gap in size between the Max 26 and the 1533.
Hey reeltime how has your 3016 served you? Has it been a good machine? Any problems you have run into? Thanks for any info.
I've been looking at the 1526 shuttle. I love it, but this is my issue, and the more I look at the specs, the more something doesn't make sense. The 1526 lifts to 84 inches, and the "dumped" clearance is 78 inches. So it loses 6 inches when dumped. The 1533/1538 lifts to 99 inches (15 inches more), and "dumped" clearance is 79.8, (only 1.8 inches more than the 1526), so it loses 19.2 inches when dumped. Am I missing something??? I'm more concerned about the dumped clearance. Sounds like a typo in the brochure. Can anybody check this out??
