I am not familiar with the 4550-4L loader. Is that a new Mahindra brand loader? The model # is different from all previous that I have seen or read about.

Yes it is a Mahindra loader. Not sure about whether it is the newest or not. Maybe one of our dealer guys can comment. Dave? It came on my tractor when it was delivered, and I noticed if you navigate on the mahindra website and look for the 4025 loader specs it takes you to the 4550 loaders...so maybe it is the next model...

4550-4L is in big black letters on one boom arm. That's not the model number. There is a small square sticker that should be on the left boom as you sit on the tractor. It will say ML233/333 or ML234/334.

My ML334 loader sits like this when lowered with the bucket level..

4550 4L is the same as the 334. Mahindra changed model numbers on almost everything. Simple decal difference.

i.e. the ML267 is now a 5565 4L... ML130 = 3550L

Just got back from my land. Yup it's the same loader. 4550-4L on both arms but AML334 on s/n plate. And it sits flush to the ground when I have it level just like ur photo. Thanks again to all who helped.

Really weird. They put the big decals on the boom with the 4550, but left the AML-334 on the serial number tag, and the manual is labeled AML-334. You'd think they'd change it all at once, eh?

My dealer said things are a little mixed up at the moment with the changeover to Tier IV emissions. Maybe this is an example of the transition to a new model.

They are both the same loader but since T3 and T4 tractors are being shipped out the ware house at different times the new stickers for the 4550 loader has been added to all. The same loader will go on the new 4540s and 4550s.

To the op your not going to find a such thing as a cheap loader these days... your going to be looking at around 5-7k without being installed most likely so might as well be sure to get a decent one.
