Maschio finish mower - any experience

Any one own a Maschio finish mower? What experience have you had with it? Any issues crop up?

Reason I ask I bought a 5' one, for less than half of the best retail price I've seen, at an auction, brand new, but built in 2011. It was supposedly an overstock they wanted to get rid of. Had two at the sale, along with some other items. Have been looking for one so couldn't turn it down. Wonder what I'm in for with it. I seems pretty well made.

Hmmm, guess not. I'll have to report my experience, once I rack some up. Got it hooked up and did some small lawn areas to get things adjusted, did real well. Smooth running, nicely balanced and relatively quiet. Seemed to cut well.

I have owned a 5 ft. model for 10 years. It has been completely trouble free.

I am redoing a 5ft. Befco finish mower. Everything fine until I wanted to replace mowing blades.Turns out the blades have been discontinued. Oregon made a replacement blade but it is no longer available. Found three on Amazon so ordered. This may or may not be why you were able to get yours so cheaply.
