How does $24,000 sound for a Mahindra Max 26xl FEL/60" Belly Mower and backhoe, Mahindra post hole digger w/8" bit and a 20' utility trailer (7000lb)?

Figure $16500-$17,000 is a great price on a Max26XL HST with QA loader.

Really? My neighbor paid substantially less than that for his Max 28 with loader -- about $13K. You can buy a larger/nicer Kubota B with front loader for $17K or a Deere 1025R with loader for $15K, so around here the Mahindras are undercutting those guys by $3-4K or so.

Max26 Prices have rose $2K, since the Max28 all over. In NE the Prices are $3K more for any small tractor. Kubota B is 20K plus, Max 26 is +17K. That is why I went red and out of state to buy.

yes, seems like prices went up.... I bought my bx25 new with a mmm for 18k and that has a backhoe. Maybe bx setup new now is considerably more? That was five years ago

My local dealer is selling the B2601 with front loader just under $17K, and the rebates will knock that down another $500-700. So the street price here hasn't gone up that much. General rule of thumb is to take the "build my Kubota" web price and expect a discount of 10-15% from most dealers.

Here is the actual breakdown of the package deal they are offering me:

Max 26xl HST $11,967
Loader. $ 3,500
Backhoe. $ 6,000
Mower deck. $ 2,925
Post hole digger $ 925 w/ 8" bit
Diamond C trailer $2,500 (20')

After closer examination of the quote, the original amount I posted did not include trailer or post hole digger.

Kubota seems to have a pricing strategy like the big 3 have with pick-ups, i.e. high sticker, but rebates with the best financing package.

Not really such a great a price.
Maybe just lowball the dealer, just to see what happens? $25k is still ok IMHO
