Is it typical for the lower radiator hose to be cool to the touch while the upper hoses are warm/hot to the touch ?
Running my 135 for about 30 minutes, engine temp around 165 Deg F.

The lower hose is the hose at the bottom of the radiator.

Placing my hand on the radiator the lower half is cool to the touch but the upper 1/3 is warm but not terribly hot.

Top is out or discharge and bottom is feed to the pump so yes that's how it works.

I can beat on bush hog or run a bx62 chipper to max hp capacity of the tractor and my lower rad hose never gets hot. 135 has perkins.
