Hi All ! let me first say " thanks to all of you that have the patience to answer some pretty ridiculous question's" These forums are the first place i go when researching a problem fix, or looking for critical information...Thanks

This leads me to my inquiry. I was recently gifted a mid-80's Massy Ferg 205 4wd. 6 speed h/l, front loader, box scraper, new tires, electrical system a mess, and fuel injection pump failure. No problem paid $700 to have the pump rebuilt, during the rebuild I removed and rebuilt the entire elect system complete w/new temp gauge, LED charge and oil indicators, 2 speed 12vdc cooling fan(ford escort @the local wrecking yard) and newly fabricated dash/instrument cluster. Rebuilt fuel pump installed, all fluids (including the hydro-trans oil all 17 qrts) and filters replaced. Fire's up first time ....OK ....everything seems to function like it should, start moving some dirt and..........
Here is my current problem: 4wd is not engaging ?, where is the 4wd engagement lever and is there one? My diagnose of the problem so far (counting levers. from the steering wheel towards the rear, on the left hand side of trans) is, 1.pri H/L, lever 2.secondary H/L lever 3. Not sure...? 2 position lever doesn't feel like any kind of torque traveling through this gear set. At idle clutch out I can faintly feel the mesh of gears but dose not effect the drive train at all. Is This my 4WD.....??? please tell me I'm missing something stupid.
I do have a I/T service/repair manual and no where can I find this lever, parts descriptions or exploded views....., google searched....., searched forums and read as many potential forum post's that might of been of help...
I would really appreciate any and all input from any and all of you.... Thanks

I don't think there's a 'secondary' high/low lever. I think the left lever on the tranny near the seat front is 4wd in/out. It might have a green plastic tip.
