I'm considering purchasing a 2860E and one of the uses of it will be for a wood chipper. I know on the M-Series they have a button on the rear fender to engage the pto without anyone being in the seat. How is this accomplished on the E-series? On my Kubota all you have to do is flip the seat up prior to engaging the rear pto to bypass the safety switch. Is it similar for the Massey?

I think you should read the manual or ask the dealer for a demo on the specific model of interest. Many tractors permit PTO operation with operator off the tractor but the means of doing so can and probably will vary by brand, model, and year.

I have a smaller massey than the one in question. There isn't any running the PTO out of the seat unless you bypass the seat switch or zip tie it down. If this is one of your needs I'd definitely do what @Roadworthy suggests and stop into a dealer and ask.
