I purchased an 11 tooth drive that fits this starter. My rebuilder Zip's starter rebuilder in Conyers ga sent it to a rebuilder in Illinois to get a 10 tooth gear installed. The rebuilder said the drive had plastic gears and he couldn't install a gear. He found a used Mitsubishi drive he had and put a new 10 tooth gear on this drive. He charged $55.00 for this rebuilt drive. Apparently their are drives out their but they don't have cross reference numbers.
They are supposed to ship the drive today.

I got a 6103-2642 starter drive it fit but had the wrong number of teeth. The hard drive rebuilder had a an old drive which he installed a new 10 tooth gear on it 33mm diameter. The starter had new bushings, brushes installed and it works like a new starter. The rebuilt drive cost $55.00 plus shipping. A Cargo 133520 drive will fit but has the wrong number of teeth but could have a new gear installed. The drive I purchased had plastic parts in the drive and couldn't be rebuilt. Ed didn't want to help after I gave him a Zen number.
